What's the difference?
Trying to Decide?
White Sourdough is the most approachable to anyone who doesn’t yet love sourdough or who likes the simpler tang of a sourdough. We use 8% Rye flour in our grain bill which offers a bit more complexity of flavor. (Ours is slight on the sour, milder than other Sourdoughs on the market. This is achieved simply by manipulating the fermentation temperature—No funny business here.)
Already into Artisan Bread?
Our Whole Grain is the epitome of an artisan bread. It’s still light and airy (albeit a bit less so). But it brings with it a whole new array of complexity. You’ll find nutty, roasted grain flavors that combine with the sweetness of the Golden Rye and add yet more depth of flavor. As a baker, this is my go-to each week and many who enjoy Artisan breads of all styles are taken by the incredibly light and soft chew delivering flavors not found in any refined wheat. (This bread makes incredible Melava Malka toasted with butter… Or on a Tuesday, budget allowing.)
Whichever you choose, you won’t be disappointed.
